Glowbox is open: two calm games you can play free in your browser
Meet Windpost, a path puzzle delivered by wind, and Lumi Garden, a cozy merge game in a moonlit greenhouse. Both are free, with no download and no sign-up.
Glowbox is a small game studio, and this site is where we publish the games we make. Everything here runs straight in your web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. There is nothing to install, no account to create, and every game is free.
We're starting with two games that share a mood: calm, hand-crafted, and good for the end of a long day.
Windpost: a path puzzle delivered by wind
In Windpost you are Xiaoman, an apprentice mail carrier in a village that sends its letters by wind. Turn the wind flowers so their petals point the way, then press Fly and watch the letter drift along your route to the right front door.
- 36 levels across six seasonal chapters, from Dandelion Hill to a village above the clouds
- New ideas in every chapter: dandelions to collect, fixed stone arrows, same-colour flowers that turn together, hollow-log tunnels, two letters at once and windmills
- No timer and no game over; stars reward the fewest taps
New to it? Our Windpost guide explains every rule and a method that solves any level.
Lumi Garden: a cozy merge game in a moonlit greenhouse
In Lumi Garden you bring a dim glass greenhouse back to life. Merge seeds into flowers, fill small orders for animal visitors, and spend the gold leaves you earn to light six corners of the greenhouse, from the moon chandelier to the view of the lake at night. Along the way you raise Yingying, a little light sprite who grows through five forms.
- Four merge chains: flowers, fruit, tea and little lights
- Eight animal visitors with their own orders
- No fail state and nothing to lose; dew and flower pots keep growing while you're away
Our Lumi Garden beginner's guide covers dew, board space, orders and raising Yingying.
A note on language
Windpost plays in English or Chinese. Lumi Garden's in-game text is in Chinese for now; its merge board is designed to be played by sight, and its game page here has full instructions in English.
