This page explains what information Glowbox ("we") handles when you visit glowbox.dev and its game pages.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address or other personal details while you play.

To understand which games people enjoy, our site sends anonymous usage events such as "a game page was viewed", "a game was started" and how long it was played. Each event carries a random identifier that is generated and stored in your own browser, the country and device type derived from your request, and the website that referred you. It is not linked to your identity.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not send these events at all.

Data stored on your device

Your recently played games, likes, saved games and theme are kept in your browser's local storage. Games may also save your progress in local storage. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.

Cookies

The public site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add advertising in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Children

Our games are suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
