About Windpost
Windpost is a calm path puzzle about a small-town post office that delivers its mail by wind. You play Xiaoman, an apprentice mail carrier. Every level is a little village drawn as a grid: a mailbox where the letter starts, a house where it has to arrive, and wind flowers, trees and paths in between.
How it plays
Each wind flower has one long petal that points the way. Tap a flower and it turns a quarter turn clockwise. When the route looks right, press Fly and the letter sets off from the mailbox, travelling straight and turning wherever a flower points it.
If the letter hits a tree, drifts off the edge of the village, circles back on itself, or reaches the wrong house, the flight simply ends and you try again. There is no game over and no timer. Your flowers stay exactly as you left them, so you can adjust one petal and fly again.
A new idea every season
Windpost has 36 levels across six chapters, from spring on Dandelion Hill to a village above the clouds. Each chapter adds one new idea and then builds on it:
- Dandelions the letter must sweep up on its way
- Stone arrows that point a fixed direction and cannot be turned
- Linked flowers: every flower of the same colour turns together, so one tap moves several
- Hollow logs that carry the letter to the matching log elsewhere on the board
- Two letters at once, each going to the house with the matching roof
- Windmills that turn a quarter each time a letter passes, so the second letter meets a different wind
Stars for elegant solutions
The counter at the top shows how many taps you have used and the fewest taps the level needs. Stars only reward efficiency; they never block a delivery. Matching the minimum is the satisfying part, because most levels have only one or two clean solutions.
Made with care
Every level carries a letter between two villagers, so the town slowly fills with small stories: a grandpa in the clock tower writing to a shepherd, a fisherman's daughter writing to her father at sea. The art is hand-painted watercolour, the seasons change chapter by chapter, and the soundtrack is calm enough to play late at night. Your progress is saved in your browser, and Windpost works on a phone held upright, a tablet or a computer.

FAQ
How many levels does Windpost have?
36 levels in six chapters of six levels each: Dandelion Hill, Wheat Wave Fields, Maple Town, Snowy Cedar Woods, Lighthouse Harbor and Hill Above the Clouds.
How do I get three stars?
Solve the level with the fewest taps. The counter at the top shows your taps next to the minimum the level needs.
What happens if my letter flies the wrong way?
Nothing bad. The flight ends, your flowers stay where they were, and you can change a flower and press Fly again.
Why did several flowers turn when I tapped one?
Flowers of the same colour are linked. Tapping one turns every flower in that colour group, including ones that are not on the letter's path.
What language is the game in?
The current version of the game shows its text in Chinese. The puzzles themselves need no reading: the board, arrows and colours tell you everything.
Is Windpost free to play?
Yes. Windpost is completely free and needs no account.
Do I need to download Windpost?
No. It runs in any modern web browser. Open the page and press Play.
Can I play Windpost on my phone?
Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers.
Does Windpost save my progress?
Progress is saved in your browser on this device. Clearing site data resets it.
