Parallel Me (平行的我) is a free story game by Glowbox Studio that you play directly in your web browser — best on a phone held upright, and also playable on tablet or computer. No download, no sign-up.

Live one semester of someone else's college life, ten weeks at a time, through her phone.

What's New

    • First release: ten-week semesters, 36 talents, 8 goals (a ninth coming soon), 19 endings, 29 memory cards, typed replies at two story moments and the shared daily run, Today's Life.

About Parallel Me

Parallel Me is a short, replayable life sim about one semester of a sophomore's college life. Each run is ten weeks and takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Everything happens on her phone: messages from friends, the event of the week, her plans, the evening feed and the results at the end of each week.

Build a life, then live it

Every run starts with a different hand. Her family background and major are dealt at random. You draw ten talents and keep three, choose one of three goals for the semester, and spread ten points across her starting stats.

Then the weeks begin. Each week brings new messages in the story, one event card that can change everything, and three action points to spend: go to class, work a part-time job, hit the gym, make videos for her channel, meet someone, rest, and more. In the evening you scroll the feed and like what your friends posted. At the end of the week it all adds up: money, grades, mood, followers and how close she is to everyone.

The people in her life

  • Su Ran, her roommate, who is keeping a secret
  • Tang Guo, her best friend, who always asks the hard questions
  • Chen Yu, her ex, who still texts at midnight
  • Zhouzhou, the senior who works at the bubble tea shop

At two moments in the story you can type your own reply instead of choosing one, and the characters answer you. When the semester ends with final exams, your run becomes a short documentary card, written by AI from the choices you made, ready to save and share.

Eight goals, nineteen endings, more on the way

Goals pull each run in a different direction, and some unlock as you play: save money, earn a scholarship, go viral, say a proper goodbye to Chen Yu, protect your friendships, have it all, get back together, or simply get through the semester without falling apart. There are 19 endings, 20 titles, 29 memory cards and 36 talents to collect, with one more goal and ending arriving in a later update.

Every finished run earns points for a shop that adds new goals, a new family background, a performing arts major and more talents, plus small extras such as an extra talent reroll.

Today's Life

Every day there is one shared run: everyone starts from the same life, with the same background, the same talent draw and the same goals. Where it goes from there is up to you, and once enough people have played, you can compare how your semester went with everyone else's that day.

Parallel Me is a work of fiction for players aged 18 and over. The in-game text is in Chinese.
