# Glowbox accounts: cloud saves across devices, and comments

> You can now sign in to Glowbox with a code sent to your email. Your game progress saves to your account and follows you to other devices, a new My games page lets you manage saves, and you can leave comments under games and articles.

Until now, every Glowbox game kept your progress only in the browser you played in. Clear your browser data, or switch from your phone to your laptop, and you started again. Today that changes. Glowbox now has optional player accounts, with cloud saves and comments.

## Signing in is optional

Every game stays free and fully playable without an account. Nothing is locked behind sign-in, and you will not be asked to register before you play.

If you do want an account, there is no password to remember. Enter your email address and we send you a six-digit code. Type it in, and you are signed in on that device. The code works for ten minutes. You can choose a display name of 2 to 30 characters, which is shown next to your comments.

## Your progress follows you

Once you are signed in, your progress in each game is saved to your account quietly in the background, usually after you finish a level or reach a milestone. There are no pop-ups while you play.

Open the same game on another phone, tablet or computer, sign in with the same email, and you carry on where you left off. This works for all the games on Glowbox: Lumi Garden, Windpost and Parallel Me.

If you play on two devices and both have newer progress, the game keeps the earlier one as a backup rather than throwing it away, so you can switch back if you need to.

## The My games page

Your account has a new page at **/account** called My games. It lists each game you have a cloud save for. From there you can:

- see which games have saved progress and when they were last updated
- **delete** a save if you want a clean start
- **restore the previous save**, if the latest one is not the one you wanted

## Comments under games and articles

You can now leave comments at the bottom of every game page and every article. Share a tip, ask a question, report a bug or just say what you enjoyed. Reading comments does not need an account; writing one does.

To keep the space calm and useful, each new comment is checked automatically before it appears. Comments with advertising, spam, links to other sites, personal details such as phone numbers or email addresses, or insults are not published. If the automatic check is unsure, the comment waits for a person to review it before it shows up.

## Your privacy

We only use your email to send your sign-in code. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only in hashed form. Your saves contain game progress only.

## Try it

Pick any game, play a few levels, and sign in when you feel like it. Your garden, your letters and your semester will be waiting on your other devices too.

## FAQ

**Do I need an account to play?**

No. All games stay free and playable without signing in. An account only adds cloud saves and the ability to write comments.

**How do I sign in?**

Enter your email address and type in the six-digit code we send you. There is no password. The code is valid for ten minutes.

**Can I undo a save I did not want?**

Yes. On the My games page at /account you can restore the previous save for a game, or delete a save to start fresh.

**Why did my comment not appear?**

Every comment is checked automatically for spam, ads, links and personal details. If the check is unsure, the comment waits for a quick manual review first.
