Turn the wind flowers, set the letter free, and watch it drift to the right front door.

## About

Windpost is a calm path puzzle about a small-town post office that delivers its mail by wind. You play Xiaoman, an apprentice mail carrier. Every level is a little village drawn as a grid: a mailbox where the letter starts, a house where it has to arrive, and wind flowers, trees and paths in between.

## How it plays

Each wind flower has one long petal that points the way. Tap a flower and it turns a quarter turn clockwise. When the route looks right, press **Fly** and the letter sets off from the mailbox, travelling straight and turning wherever a flower points it.

Every level gives you a little **wind**: the minimum number of taps the level needs, plus two. Undo gives the wind back, so you can experiment freely. If the letter hits a tree, drifts off the edge of the village, circles back on itself or reaches the wrong house, the flight simply ends and your flowers stay exactly as you left them. There is no timer and no game over.

## A new idea every season

Windpost has 36 levels across six chapters, and each chapter adds one new idea:

- **Spring, Dandelion Hill**: wind flowers, and linked flowers where every flower of the same colour turns together
- **Summer, Wheat Wave Fields**: dandelions the letter must sweep up, and stone arrows that can't be turned
- **Autumn, Maple Town**: hollow logs that carry the letter to the matching log elsewhere on the board
- **Winter, Snowy Cedar Woods**: two letters at once, each going to the house with the matching roof
- **Harbor, Lighthouse Harbor**: windmills that turn a quarter each time a letter passes, so the second letter meets a different wind
- **Clouds, Hill Above the Clouds**: every kind of wind at once

## Stars, stamps and postcards

Solving a level with the fewest possible taps earns three stars; one extra tap earns two, two extra taps earn one. Collect 12 of a chapter's 18 stars to open the next chapter. Deliver on your first flight with three stars and you earn a gold-edged stamp.

Every level carries a letter between two villagers, and each one writes back. Each first delivery lights a lamp in the town, and lighting all six reveals the town at night and adds a postcard to your album.

## Made with care

The art is hand-painted watercolour, the seasons change chapter by chapter, and the soundtrack is calm enough to play late at night. Windpost is in English and Chinese, saves your progress in your browser, and plays best on a phone held upright, with tablet and computer also supported.
